3. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement

At Humanity Calls International, we take the confidentiality of our internal documents and sensitive information very seriously. In order to protect our organization’s assets and ensure that all confidential information is handled securely, we have implemented the following terms. • Prohibition on Sharing Internal Documents: Humanity Calls International maintains strict confidentiality and security over all internal documents.   • Charitable Status (CFC) -51470: For qualifying charitable organizations or requests related to the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), we will provide proof of our charitable status and relevant registration information.
  • Payment Processors: Payment processors that handle transactions for Humanity Calls International may access specific financial data for legitimate business purposes. These entities are required to protect any sensitive information they access under confidentiality agreements.
  • Law Enforcement Requests: Law enforcement agencies may access relevant documents or data as required by law, such as when compelled by legal order, subpoena, or other legal means.
• Confidentiality of Shared Information: Information shared by Humanity Calls International is to be used only for the purpose outlined in the agreement or project. It is prohibited to use this information for personal or commercial gain, and the recipient must not disclose it to third parties without prior written consent from Humanity Calls International, unless disclosure is required by law.
• Confidentiality of Partner Information: Humanity Calls International prohibits sharing of partner information in any of our programs with parties that are not registered with Humanity Calls International. Exceptions include, recommendations and joint initiatives on projects where partners are working together.
• Protection of Confidential Information: The recipient is required to take reasonable steps to protect confidential information, including using the same level of care as they would to protect their own confidential information.
• Duration of Confidentiality Obligations: The obligations under this agreement continue for the duration of the relationship and for a period after its termination. The recipient must return or destroy any confidential information upon request by Humanity Calls International at the end of the relationship.
• Security and Data Protection: Humanity Calls International implements strict security protocols to protect sensitive information. The recipient must adhere to security measures to safeguard confidential information and prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or breach.
• Consequences of Breach: Any breach of confidentiality or unauthorized disclosure will result in legal consequences, including potential penalties. The recipient agrees to indemnify Humanity Calls International against any damages or losses resulting from unauthorized disclosure of confidential information.
• Limitation of Liability: Humanity Calls International will not be held liable for any unauthorized disclosure or misuse of confidential information by third parties who were given access in compliance with this agreement and legal obligations.
• Termination of the Agreement: Either party may terminate this agreement. However, confidentiality obligations will remain in effect even after termination. Upon termination, all confidential information must be returned or destroyed.
• Governing Law and Dispute Resolution: This agreement is governed by the laws of the state in which Humanity Calls International is incorporated, and any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved in accordance with the designated dispute resolution procedures.
• Acknowledgment and Consent: By signing this agreement, the recipient acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions set forth, including confidentiality obligations and exceptions to disclosure.

4. Donations

All donations made to Humanity Calls Foundation are voluntary and non-refundable. By making a donation, you acknowledge that the funds will be used to support the foundation's mission and programs, which include providing humanitarian assistance to those in need. Your contributions are vital to our ongoing efforts to address the needs of vulnerable populations. We strive to ensure that every dollar donated is used effectively and efficiently to further our mission. Additionally, all donations are subject to any applicable laws and regulations that may affect charitable contributions.

5. Online Donations and Credit Card Security

Humanity Calls is grateful for the individuals who choose to support our work by making donations. These gifts help the organization continue and expand our valuable work. It is very important to us that your personal information remains secure. When you donate to Humanity Calls online, your credit card information is secured by Fundraise Up's secure payment processor. Fundraise Up's integrated payment processing capabilities are powered by Stripe, which has the highest level of certification attainable in the payments industry: PCI Level 1. Fundraise Up uses 256-bit encryption and maintains SOC II, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS Level 1 security compliances. Your credit card number is used only for that particular transaction. Your card is never stored, ensuring your information remains confidential and secure.

Information entered on donation pages is encrypted for your security. All donation pages are protected by an SSL certificate, which is maintained by Humanity Calls. You'll know this is enabled when you see the symbol of a padlock in the browser address bar. This means your data is transmitted securely to our servers, and we use it solely for the purposes outlined in this policy. 6. REFUNDS

All donations and payments made to Humanity Calls International are non-refundable. We rely on these contributions to fund our programs and initiatives, and as such, refunds are generally not provided.

However, we may issue a refund under the following circumstances:

• -Fraudulent Transactions: If we have sufficient evidence to believe that a charge on your card, bank account, or mobile money wallet was unauthorized or fraudulent, we may process a refund.
• -Legal Compliance: If required by a legal ruling or directive from a jurisdiction in any of the countries we operate, we will comply and issue a refund as directed.
• Our payment processors are PCI-compliant and adhere to industry-standard measures to prevent fraud and secure transactions. 7. Grant Applications

This are the terms governing our Grants Program. By applying for funding you consent to this information

• By submitting your application, you consent to the use of your data for the purpose of evaluating your eligibility for the grant. We may contact you for additional information or documents should we find that the information you have provided is insufficient.
• Approved applicants will receive an email that will relay the decision of the review panel. We will then share a contract with you that outlines the terms governing the funding program. If the contract is accepted, the applicant will be required to complete registration
• Approved applicants will be required to complete a formal registration process with the Humanitarian Calls International (HCI) in order to receive grant disbursement. As part of this process, a mandatory, non-refundable membership fee will apply. The fee amount is considered nominal and is determined based on the applicant’s region or country of residence to ensure fairness and accessibility across different economic contexts. The implementation of this policy is not incidental. HCI reserves the exclusive and sovereign right to establish, enforce, and maintain program policies in alignment with its operational goals, fiduciary responsibilities, and compliance standards. The decision to include a membership fee is rooted in both logistical necessity and organizational integrity, and it is periodically reviewed and reaffirmed through a formal voting process conducted by the HCI Board of Directors. It must be clearly understood that no applicant, regardless of circumstances, shall dictate or override this policy. We do not accommodate personal modifications or exceptions, and we do not negotiate terms with individual applicants under any condition. Furthermore, participation in the HCI grants program is entirely voluntary. Applicants are under no obligation to proceed if they disagree with the stated terms, including the membership fee. Those who choose not to accept the terms are free to decline the offer and withdraw from the program without consequence or prejudice. By choosing to proceed with membership registration, the applicant acknowledges and accepts this requirement in full and without reservation. Continued participation is interpreted as informed agreement to all terms, including the membership policy, as published and maintained by HCI.
• We may require an online video meeting with your organization before disbursment. The decision to hold or NOT hold a meeting depends on several factors, such as the size of your organization, the grant amount, and the level of risk assessed by our experts. These meetings are conducted to ensure that we are engaging with the right organization and individuals, helping to reduce fraud. Unfortunately, there are instances where criminals attempt to steal identities and fraudulently apply for our funding programs. As a result, we carefully review applications from certain countries— which we do not disclose— due to identified patterns of recurring fraud. To mitigate these risks, we are required to conduct thorough verification for all relevant applications. We may also hold these meetings to familiarize ourselves with your team and establish a clear connection or when we want to have a look at your presentation.
• Funds will only be disbursed to accounts where the account holder's name matches the name of the applicant. For instance. If your organization's name is Dummy International, Your bank account must have a partially matching name.
• HCI retains the absolute and non-contestable right to withhold, delay, or revoke the disbursement of funds at any point prior to completion of payment if, in our sole discretion, there is reasonable doubt regarding the credibility, integrity, or intent of the applicant. This includes, but is not limited to, concerns related to false representation, incomplete or inconsistent information, suspected fraud, third-party interference, or behavior that raises legitimate ethical or procedural concerns. We are under no obligation to provide advance notice, justification, or opportunity for appeal in the event such action is taken. Decisions made under this clause are final, binding, and made exclusively in the interest of preserving the integrity of the program and its resources. Furthermore, we fully reserve the right to reject, decline, or disqualify any application, at any stage and for any reason, including administrative discretion. This right may be exercised without explanation and does not entitle the applicant to reconsideration, reapplication privileges, or access to internal review processes. By submitting an application, all participants acknowledge that acceptance into the program is not guaranteed and that final approval and fund disbursement remain contingent upon both organizational confidence and compliance with all program terms, as defined solely by HCI.
• Incase of post approval flags by regulatory bodies such as the IRS or equivalent entity within the E.U, HCI will work with the party to resolve the flag on behalf of an applicant. Should any charges be levied, HCI guarantees 100% responsibility for registered partners with membership.
• HCI reserves the unrestricted right to initiate follow-up assessments, audits, or inquiries at any point following the disbursement of grant funds. These evaluations are conducted to determine the measurable impact of the funding on the intended individuals, communities, or projects as declared by the applicant during the application process. All recipients are expected to cooperate fully and transparently with any such assessment, including but not limited to providing documentation, reports, visual evidence, or interviews as deemed necessary by the Council. These follow-ups may be scheduled or unannounced, and refusal to participate may be interpreted as a breach of program terms. Any instance of confirmed or suspected misuse, diversion, misrepresentation, or unethical use of grant funds — including applying them toward purposes not disclosed or approved — shall constitute grounds for immediate and permanent disqualification from all current and future Humaniy Calls International programs. In such cases, HCI reserves the right to terminate the recipient’s membership, nullify any remaining entitlements, and pursue all appropriate remedies under civil or criminal law, including referral to relevant authorities. By accepting funds, the recipient affirms their understanding that grant usage is subject to accountability, oversight, and consequence. Participation in the program constitutes full agreement with this condition.

8. Scholarship Applications

By applying for a Humanity Calls International scholarship you agree to this terms:

• By applying for a scholarship, you consent to the review and use of your information by Humanity Calls International (Humanity Calls International). You affirm that all information submitted is accurate, truthful, and not forged. Any documents uploaded will be securely handled; however, Humanity Calls International reserves the right to investigate any discrepancies or concerns regarding the authenticity of your submission.
• Eligibility: To apply for a scholarship, you must meet the eligibility criteria specified in the scholarship guidelines. These criteria may include age, academic performance, financial need, or other qualifications as defined for each specific scholarship. Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited educational institution.
• The information you provide in your application will be used solely for the purpose of evaluating your eligibility for the scholarship. We take privacy seriously and will not share your personal information with third parties except as required by law or as necessary for scholarship processing.
• Scholarships will be awarded based on the criteria set forth for each individual scholarship program. Selection decisions are made by the scholarship committee, and all decisions are final. We reserve the right to modify or cancel any scholarship offering without prior notice.
• Scholarships are non-transferable. The scholarship award is intended for the use of the recipient and cannot be transferred to another person or institution unless explicitly stated in the scholarship guidelines.
• We reserve the right to terminate, suspend, or modify the scholarship program at any time without prior notice. Any changes to the scholarship program, including eligibility requirements or award amounts, will be communicated through appropriate channels.
• Humanity Calls International partners with various universities to support students from low- to middle-income regions. As a facilitator, we assist in preparing you for admission to the institution of your choice. Our support covers most associated expenses, including visa, passport, and flight payments. • We are not liable for any damages, losses, or inconveniences resulting from the scholarship program or application process. This includes, but is not limited to, delays in processing, errors in application submissions, or issues related to the disbursement of scholarship funds.
• If your application is approved, you will be required to register as a member of Humanity Calls International. This registration may involve a nominal membership fee, which varies based on your region.
• Humanity Calls International reserves the right to revoke your scholarship if your conduct is found to be contrary to our vision and mission. Discipline is a core value of our program, and we expect all participants to maintain the highest standards of personal discipline.

9. Job Applications

Terms governing recruitment and job applications
